Bhaktabahadur Thapa who attended course 18/11 25-28 Feb 11
Families Officer at ITC Catterick Garrison.
“What an outstanding course, best I have ever done. Please convey my regards to the instructors. The 4 principles are outstanding. Should somebody say different then I’ll defy them. I have been revising the information that I learnt on the course, certainly the 4 principles always give me good lessons”.

“A little update, through a lot of work and 2 sets of intense rehab the decision to discharge me was revoked and I am now back to full fitness and working towards a degree. Without going on the course I’m not sure I would have had the drive to go through with either.
WO1 Brad Braddock of the Army Physical Training Corps at Headley Court helping wounded men regain their fitness and trained the SAS:
“I went on the Remount course in a very cynical frame of mind. I was top of my job and there were few people to teach me anything. Anyway as I was facing civy street I thought that I might as well give it a whirl. Remount has changed my entire outlook on life and my views of other people. I now understand myself better and as a result appreciate my colleagues and friends more. It has helped me to find a real purpose for my life. When I leave the first thing I’ll do is apply for a job with Remount. It’s special”
WO2 Gus Goodall of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers
“On leaving the Army you will feel isolated, lonely, unwanted and insecure. I can say wholeheartedly that these feelings will soon subside. The Remount Course showed me how to prepare for my leaving the Army and not only that it showed me ways of dealing with the isolation and loneliness and above all it taught me to value myself.”

When I arrived at Remount I was afraid to show my feelings and had no idea what I wanted. But with the help of people on Remount getting me to do my life line and talking to them made me see that I could still go for things and not to be afraid of the future. I now have a true purpose in life and I have goals that I have started to go for.
Without Remount many ex-servicemen and women could be left feeling alone and not knowing what they want. I would recommend Remount to all servicemen and women who do not know what they want or where they are going. Also for those suffering from stress or depression Remount is a valuable charity resource.
